American Tesla Model Y

The American Tesla Model Y electric crossover SUV has officially joined the new Standard Range entry car. The American Tesla Model Y Standard Range priced at US$41,990 (about NT$1.17 million) is US$8,000 (about NT$220,000) cheaper than the Model Y Long Range. But you get what you pay for, the Model Y Standard Range entry car is indeed more equipped.
Let’s compare the endurance first. The Model Y Standard Range is estimated to travel 244 miles (about 393 kilometers), which is 82 miles (about 132 kilometers) less than the Model Y Long Range. Entry Model Y Standard Range is also equipped with a single-motor and rear-wheel drive setting that is different from other models. Other Model Y cars are equipped with four-wheel drive systems.
In addition to lower driving tracking, the acceleration performance of the Model Y Standard Range is also slower than the dual-motor Long Range version. The acceleration time of the Standard Range model from 0 to 96 kilometers per hour is 5.3 seconds. This acceleration performance is not bad at all, but the Long Range long-range vehicle can accelerate from 100 kilometers in only 4.8 seconds.
The other good news is that Model Y buyers can now choose a third-row double seat for US$3,000 (about NT$80,000)! The seat has an Easy Entry function for passengers to enter and exit and provides a USB Type-C charging port. The new Model Y Standard Range entry-level car has begun to accept orders, and the first batch of vehicles is estimated to be delivered in 2 to 5 weeks.
Tesla boss Elon Musk once said that the endurance of the Model Y Standard Range may be unacceptably low, so this model was cancelled. What changed Musk’s mind? Foreign telegraph reports believe this may be related to the appearance of rival Ford Mustang Mach-E and Volkswagen ID.4. The prices of the above two cars start at US$42,895 (approximately NT$1.2 million) and US$39,995 (approximately NT$1.12 million) respectively. After the federal tax is deducted, the prices are much more affordable than Model Y.
